Whether you are setting out to train your new family pet, or raising your dog for sport or show, these programs are designed to be your building blocks to a winning relationship!
These Tools To Start include most importantly, my “Dog Speak – Body Language and the Five Senses” approach which will have you reading each other like a really good book!
Imagine this scenario:
The example above is why I strongly encourage several management techniques throughout the program because it is much easier to prevent bad habits from forming, than to try to break or re-train bad habits. Don’t make the mistake of assuming your puppy will “just grow out of it”.
Your puppy is left to wander the kitchen and gets into the trash finding last night’s meaty steak bone as his prize. This is something he will never forget! Now think forward to the additional efforts you will be faced with in your daily life with a dog who is always lurking around the trash, or waiting for your company to set down their dinner plate.
We are embarking on a journey through puppyhood and puppy juvenile delinquency that is designed to minimize your struggles, and maximize your long-term enjoyment!
Management techniques taught include daily exercise and new adventures, a consistent schedule, various confinement options, leashing your puppy in the house, and of course keeping him busy with learning!
Enjoy the program!
